Wayne/Winfield Area Youth/Family Services: WAYS          

WAYS hosted the Association of Illinois Township Committees on Youth (AITCOY) July 12, 2011 with camp kids from 5 townships participating.

WAYS fun-filled Summer Camp from June 4-August 17, 2012

Summer Camp encompasses two different populations within the same structure.  Summer fun and skill-building is planned for children ages 6-12. Also WAYS once again is offering the Junior Counselor Program for students in or entering Junior High.   

Camp runs 10am – 4pm, Monday through Friday with the option of extended hours from 8am – 6pm.  Youth come for one or many weeks.  The cost is $65/week, with scholarships are available based on income including a $5 reduction when paid for in advance and 

Along with fun-filled daily activities and field trips, WAYS staff will measure campers’ improvement in physical activity and social skills.  Already scheduled trips include Kline Creek Farm, Turtle Splash, Coyote Crossing, Splash Central, Kane County Cougars Games, and Cosley Zoo.
