                Parenting Classes– Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) in Spanish   can help assure that parents learn to effectively understand children’s behavior, improve communication, and set limits along with consequences. The 8 session program has provided service to Probation and DCFS referred clients as well as those who are self-referred.  It’s easy to comprehend, effective, and research-based. Parents can start at any time, but a pre-class consultation  is required for pre-class assessment and for goal-setting.
